Oracle Database 12c (12.1.0.1.0) released for Solaris and Linux

We note that Oracle has released the latest version of its database for Solaris (Sparc and x86-64)  and Linux platforms. The release for Windows is not yet available. Interested readers can obtain a copy from Oracle via its Technet site.
